How it works

Each ingredient’s nutrition per 100 g comes from USDA FoodData Central or a typical product label, the same data behind every recipe on this site. The calculator adds up your amounts and divides by the number of servings.

Enter amounts as raw weights where you can. Cooking changes the weight but not the calories, so 100 g of raw chicken has the same calories after cooking, even though it then weighs less. Weighing raw ingredients is the most accurate way to count.

Net carbs

Net carbs are total carbs minus fiber, allulose, erythritol and half of other sugar alcohols. Allulose, sugar alcohols and net carbs explains why.
