Recipes list grams first. Where a spoon or unit is easier (1 tbsp oil, 2 large eggs), both are shown: 1 tbsp olive oil (14 g).

Weights for spoons depend on the ingredient. Oil is lighter than water, so 1 tbsp of oil weighs about 13.5 g. Each ingredient’s conversion is stored in the site’s data and used in every recipe.
Scaling
The serving selector (1, 2 or 4) multiplies quantities. Cooking times stay the same unless the recipe says otherwise, but a crowded pan cooks slower. Each recipe notes when to use a bigger pan or cook in two rounds.
